C.M.S. has issued a short statement identifying that the new ICD-10 start date is October 1, 2015. According to C.M.S., it expects HHS “to release an informational rule in the near future that will include a new compliance date that would require the use of ICD-10 beginning Oct. 1, 2015.” Until then, HIPAA-covered entities
